Polenta Valdaostan style

Serves 4:

  • 800g maize flour
  • 400g Fontina
  • 200g butter
  • Water
  • Salt

Prepare polenta with maize flour (fine and coarse grain). When almost cooked add 50g of butter per person and mix well.

Add the diced Fontina and continue cooking until well blended. Once the Fontina has melted serve hot with boiled meat, stew or rabbit.
